Dell Laptop Touch Pad

I set my touchpad for light touch.

As soon as the computer turns off or hibernates or anything, it resets back to the default setting.

WHY won't it stay?

it sounds like a file may be being written over top of when you reboot the machine. other than that, it might be something in the bios too. wait for some more replies. hope maybe more people will respond for ya.
