Dell laptop screen resolution prob

Hi, im posting this on behalf of my sister. Xp was recently re-installed on the laptop. Everything is fine apart from the display appears in the midle of the laptop and the display is at a reduced resolution. Obvioulsy it would be better if the whole screen could be used. Does anybody know where i can find the drivers for the display as i have looked on the disks supplied with the laptop but no had no luck. When trying to adjust the resolution the slider wont move.

Dell laptops typically have a "function" key to fill the screen. Hold down the "Fn" key on the lower left-hand side of the keyboard while pressing one of the "F" keys on the top row.
