Dell laptop keyboard disabled after running Combofix

Specs: Windows 7
I ran Combofix on my Dell Mini-Inspiron laptop and after a few steps Combofix asked to reboot the laptop.
so I did and when I tried to put my password I had no more keyboard on my laptop!

I had to go on SAVE mode and use the administrator ID (no passsword) to get to the next step of ComboFix that ran for 50 steps and then after final reeboot I still don't have any keyboard .

this is not hardware because when I boot I can still hit F8 to get the SAVE mode.

is there a way to get my keyboead activated again?

About all I can suggest is to connect an external USB keyboard and see if that works. If so, go into Device Manager and remove the keyboard listing and reboot.

Is your touchpad also disabled?

What were you trying to fix in the first place?
