dell 410 will not boot, I cannot get into the BIOS to start

Specs: Windows 7
jn safe mode-auto detect comes on and states hit any key or move the mouse--then repeats the message, this happened 3 weeks ago but a visitor fixed it---how?

It would help if you'd post the exact error message. It sounds like the monitor isn't receiving a signal from the video card. Which "Dell 410" do you have - Latitude 410 laptop or XPS 410 desktop?

Let me try again: please post the exact error message, word for word.

Are you hearing any beeps from the tower? Are the power or HDD activity LEDs lighting up? Do you hear any fans spinning inside the case?

Here's a question you asked a couple of months ago, is it related? Also, are you running XP, Vista or Win7?

got it started- PC had no sound before Dell 410 vista on screen it states-2:analog input in power save mode press computer power button or any key on keyboard or move mouse--nothing works F2 an F8 do nothing had this problem 4 weeks ago but some one fixed it an L do not know who
