deleting password to log in

Hi guys! How do I delete a password I installed a while ago and don't need anymore I went to user account to no avail

I am the adm and did not try to change it I just want to get rid of it

Well u can 'change' it to a blank p/w, or do u want to delete that users acct ??

the think I want to do is not to have to use a password to log in my pc

next time you boot your computer, press the F8 key a few times. You should now see a few options on your screen. Use the arrow keys to select Safe Mode and when you get into windows delete the account or password that you wish.

Think that should do it, let me know.

in run box, type 'control userpaswords2' (without the 's). Option there 'Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer'. Uncheck it.

Or as previously mentioned, just set password to 'null'.

No problem.....

Just change the p/w to a blank one, and providing ur the only user, XP will boot direct to the desktop.
