this is a revival of a post of mine, Jan 2007 (158920)

I used unlocker for removing "locked" files. It was fine

Now I have around 15 directories, directly in c;\, 55 MB each, long and strange names (1b5000e8793.......). I try to delete them, which is not allowed by XP, then unlocker is invoked, and I mark each of them for deletion at next boot time, but they persist.

Using systernals (PendMoves) I see they are in the list for next-boot-actions. Using MoveFile (to ""), they equally persist.

What can I do?

thanks

thanks

Moveonboot does not delete folders. Look here.
