Need a tip. Can't get rid of a bitmap file in either regular or safe mode. Went through my archives, but can't find the software program which always did it before (Move On Boot?)

Tried to Google it but came up empty.

Thanks for your help.

Don't know what you entered into Google but Move on Boot came up at the top of the list.

Thanks for the quick reply; I appreciate it. But Move On Boot didn't remove the bitmap. :(

This damn file's a gorilla!

It's not infected, either. I run an updated version of NOD 32 antivirus, plus a number of other reliable screens and scans.

If there's another - tougher! - deletion utility available, please let me know.

Thanks again, Atlantic
