I am trying to delete a folder that wont delete because it contains characters not recognizable by windows. It also has files and folders within it the contains similar characters. I am running Windows Xp and everytime I try to delete the folder, an error message comes up saying "Cannot delete... The filename, directory, or volume label syntax is incorrect." And when I try to change the filename, it says "Cannot read from source file or disk." I tried deleting from cmd but no luck. Someone said to try a POSIX app. I got rm.exe, but I cant get it to work. I cant find a Windows XP Resource Kit either. PLEASE HELP!

Yeah I had that problem as well, but I got rid of it eventually by running scandisk which fixes the filename into valid form.
