Deleting a file

I was done a copy file from CD-rom "sometging.avi" to harddisk, but when i want to delete this file from harddisk, i get an error that this file using another application and cannot delete it. I'm working in Administration mode and I done only copy and then delete.

Reboot to clear the link to the player. Or try playing another file then deleting the one you want. Some players retain a link for 'quickness' in replaying the video.

I am also having that problem with a divx video that I copied from a cd to my hard drive, it says that it is in use by anther program. I tried everything including end tasking most of the processes that were active, removing it from all of my media libraries, and even manually clearing all of my temporary files, and it still gives me that error, it has me stumped. :(
