What is P3 (I'm sure you don't mean THIS P3 Orion)?

Pentium 3 is not an operating system. What operating system are you rnning and what version of IE have you deleted?

How did you go about deleting it? Did you just delete the icon or did you go to Control Panel > Add or Remove & actually uninstall it?

You may have only deleted an IE shortcut icon.

The original IE icon is in here ---
C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer folder

OS ix XP Home Edition.
It had been asking me to download IE8, I had IE7.
I pushed the download button and all this nightmare began.
When I checked in Add ad Remove I have IE7 but does not
say how big the file is.
I also tried system restore, but I could not find that function on
this computer.
