hi everybody.
i really pray you can help meas you always do.here is my problem:
i have 2 hard disks (80 Gb and 40 Gb). i have valuable infos on my 40 Gb HD (info that i collected during my whole life). i decided to format the 80 Gb HD.
unfortunately, when Windows installation CD asked me what to do, i choose to delete the partition of the wrong HD (the 40 Gb of valuable info). lucky me, i realized the big mistake before formating it. now i do not know what to do and i'm so afraid i will loose all this info. Then I formated and installed Windows XP on the 80Gb HD, but when i enter "My Computer", my 40 Gb HD is not there.
Please help me i'm really afraid i will loose all this info i need. I guess that as i did not format it, it is not lost?? I really hope so.
thank youDavid

The fact that you deleted the partition on 40 GB disk means that windows cannot see it. A hard disk needs to be partitioned and formatted before Windows can use it.
However, all is not lost. Recovering from a deleted partition is relatively simple with the right software. Just don't do anything with the disk until you are ready to recover the data. In fact disconnect it just be on the safe side.
Do a search on Google for partition recovery software. There is loads available at varying prices or click on the orange logo at the top right hand side of this page.

Hello,
DataRecoveryWizard utility can help. Speaking about me, it was easily able to restore lost data, so I think you will also find it quite useful. Really recommended tool, give it a try.
