Deleted a folder by mistake...undel

any type of help is much appriciated...i just deleted a folder on my hard disk (5min ago) which was like 30gb or so...it is NOT in the rec. bin; is there any other way to retreive it? like the old Dos Undelete? I will do any method - please tell me yes! *sigh*

Hi, Sorry I can't help you but don't do anything until someone can help you or you may overwrite the data you need to recover. I have used get back data from runtime (sponsor upper right main page)before and it worked fine. But wait for more advice so you don't loose it forever. Bluejay

You too Bluejay.Take a look at the other place I sent you the pm about. System restore only recovers system files, not deleted program files.

thanks guys for the advice i'm trying the program right away *Hope!*
i'll let you know how things sort out (btw the files are mainly multimedia files not system or installed applications)

I managed to get back 2gb out of the massive mass i lost...at least its better then nothing but it seems it cant retreive more
