Here is my problem. I didn't notice that I had installed 3 same windows XP home edition SP2 in my system. How can I delete two of them and use only one?

Make your CD/DVD-rom your 1rst boot device and put your XP disc in the drive and boot your computer from the XP disc. Format the drive and perform a clean install.

Boot to the version you want to keep. You can then delete the two you do not want. Simple as that!

Microsoft has an article on this matter. I just happen to run across it this morning.

Duplicate OS installations will not be in Add Remove programmes.

Just right click on the Windows folder and select delete and it is gone.

Add remove only contains applications that were installed under that version of the OS. As you cannot install an OS within an OS, it never appears on Add Remove.

FJB-I have an idea what you are thinking. You can install more than 1 xp on a partition by putting it in a differrent folder name. I have done it by mistake. LOL!
