How would I delete things from my registry? I'm talking about cookies, pictures, old e-mails or anything else that I've deleted but still gets logged in the registry.
Ctrl+Alt+Delete fixes EVERYTHING.

The registry does not essentially store your cookies, pictures, old emails and other personal stuff, it deals more with the OS.
Programs like CrapCleaner will help you tidy things up, but you still habe manually delete your pictures and old e-mail if you are using OE related mail system. It's a much better approach and you are less likely to butcher your OS.

Look down a little to "regseeker(free) - Download this and run it. Make sure that you select delete only green entries.

**habe manually** ... this is perfect german-english! bravo, sabertooth :-)
and yes, regseeker i can only recommend.
clean your registry, them get PageDfrg and let it compact your registry hives.both programs are freeware, google them.

Thanks for all the help. I have another question related to this though. Isn’t the registry where the computer keeps track of everything you do? Isn’t that how they catch those pedophiles and corporate cons? They THINK they deleted something but its still there!

Your ISP keeps instant tracks of yourr where abouts while on the net so if you think a person can clean out tracks of site visited , Guess again, Your ISP already knows
" Please Post back to let us know if we helped "

"They THINK they deleted something but its still there!"
That's not because of the Registry. That's because of the way the 'file' system works. When you delete a file on a hard drive, it is not really deleted. The space is marked available for re-use by the OS, but the data remains there until it is overwritten by a new file.
Do yourself a favor BACKUP!

Which is why the DOJ Attorney General & the FBI are trying hard to force the ISPs to record everything we do. They will success under Bush Administration.

in europe ISPs in most countries are obliged to keep records for up to 2 yrs ^^
