Delete history in windows media player

How do you delete the history in windows media player? Its on the task bar under file and it shows recent opened files..

well you don't want the history of things you've run you have to delete it 2 places. The first one is located in C:\Documents and Settings\Your Username\Recent this file contains the shortcuts to your recenlt run pictures, documents, and movies. They still are there even after you delete the base files, (sometimes nice to clean them up). I believe that takes care of it, if it doesn't then you will need to go into registry (do this by going to run and typeing: regedit ) do a search on the name of the file then delete that key. hope it helps.
