I'm trying to figure out how to delete an .exe file in xp? If I run Norton AntiVirus there are three .exe files that will not fix through Norton. I have tried searching for them within the registry and get no results. Is there a way to get rid of these .exe files that are invading my computer?
Google to MoveOnBoot. It will delete them before XP loads on the next boot.

per, I downloaded MoveOnBoot, but on page one when I type in the .exe file it will not move onto page two. It tells me that it is a incorrect file name.
Can you search *.exe at all in Windows? If a search result does not show those files, then they are not present and Norton has made a mistake. You could try REG CLEANER from www.jv16.org but be careful as to what you do in the registry.
