How do I remove or delete from the list an icon/entry of taskbar notifications, under the customize button of the taskbar and start menu notifications area?....

I had downloaded an application before and was automatically set to my list of icons right on my taskbar(the icons that you see left of the time/clock of the taskbar)...

I have removed the said application thru add/remove programs and hoped that it was permanently out of trace....

I checked on my taskbar and start menu from the control panel, then under the notifications area i checked my Customize Notifications list by clicking the customize button, only to find out that the keyword of the application I thought I have removed is still present....

The icon and keyword is still present under the Past Items column....

Just How do I remove this entry from the column?...

Thanks.....

lookingforward
