Delete & copy Win XP Folder from another PC

Specs: Windows XP
Regarding windows folder, can i just delete the whole folder? because i am planning to replace it with a new one that i will just copy the folder that i have from another computer?

As long as you don't want the computer to boot, that will be fine. The issues that you will have are legion including (but not limited to) driver problems, registry problems, activation problems, uncopyable files, ....

Why do you want to delete your current Windows folder? If you must, then a clean install is the answer.

jilean1724 windows installs are more complicated than just moving files around.

The days of DOS have been over for a long time.

what exactly are you trying to accomplish?

wanderer is right. We need to know what is this folder?

I'd rename it before you moved it over so that you'd keep two of them just in case.

Some windows folders can not be copied.

I was assuming that by "windows folder" the OP meant the windows folder. Obviously an attempt to copy that from one machine to another is going to fail (although I appreciate that it might appear to be an attractive way to reinstall Windows without an install disk and key).
