[even tho WinModems usually use Software Flow Control] Correct? ______________________________________________________ 4]I believe the Modem settings in DUN take precedence over the Ctrl Panel Modem settings. Correct? _____________________________________________________ 5] Should I Enable or Disable the following?: LCP extensions Multi-Link Use Default Gateway IP Header Compression _____________________________________________________________ These answers are hard to get either from ISP's or manufacturers.I've read up but maybe someone has input or similar experience? the settings are correct. the modem may be bad. try a diff modem. these cheapo modems to day are very line noise sensitive, and can develop problems from slight power drops/surges.
