Can anyone tell which is the best between Norton disk speed & the disk defragmenter in system tools. Does it matter which on ei use? Thanks

Can't answer your question about Norton. However, a while back, I replaced the defragmenter that came bundled in XP with Diskeeper Lite (it's free).
I found Diskeeper Lite to be faster and an improvement over the XP defragmenter.

I've been using the norton defragmenter regularly for a few years now... I think it's better than the one that comes with windows because it moves files that are rarely used to the end of the drive. I don't believe the Windows one does that.
Other than that I think they are pretty much the same... either one will probably work just fine but I've had a good experience with Norton.
