Comment:
i cannot use defrag.. when i try to use it under start/acc i get a window saying: "c:\windows\system32\dfrg.msc Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. you may not have the appropiate permissions to acces the item."
Also when i try to defrag under C Drive then Tools Tab it says i dont have it install... the problem here is i dont know where to install it from...
also i have done virus checks but came up with nothing... i have also tryed diskkeeper but same error msg comes up... please help
This will replace all Windows system files with the standard ones, and hopefully properly install the defrag program for you.
I hope this helps,
James

Also check the following.
- Are you authorised to access this program? (Do you have admin privilages)
- Is that file indeed at that path?
If these check out then you may want to also try running the program under "Safe Mode." Do this my restarting your PC and holding down F5 while the PC is booting. Choose "Safe Mode" and log in like normal.
These are just other suggestions if the above doesn't work.
