Could someone tell me what ntuser.dat.LOG and ntuser.dat are? Could they be a trojan, because they change their size continiously.

A user profile is contained within the NtUser.dat (and NtUser.dat.log) files, plus a number of sub-directories.

jorda by jorge or jorge by jorda, whoever. You have posted about this quite a few times. You have asked for our help multiple time and various persons have tried to be helpful to you. From now on just please describe what it is exactly that you have issues with and someone will be glad to help you. I think that I can speak for more than just myself about this:
We don't care who you are or what you are about except that you have a problem with your computer. At the beginning is a statement as to what you should do as to posting your problem. All we ask is that you follow that proceedure.
I know that everyone (me included) has doubts about letting people or programs have access to their pc, but I have yet to have heard anyone purposely directing someone to a bad site from in this forum.Although there has been some that may erroniously give out bad information ..there are enough supporters here that will set that straight real fast and KTTD will remove it immediately.

As lurkswithin pointed out this is the fourth request in a short time period. You never identified the file you were referring to as the people who tried to help you asked. If you are asking about the NTUSER files then you are lucky that you have not found a method to remove them. They are critical system files, designed to change as you work with your PC. If you manage to change or delete them then the next time your system starts it WILL FAIL. Then the only way to get back in your case will be insert the Windows CD and do a FORMAT and REINSTALL of the OS.

Richard, you couldnt be farther from wrong. Deleting these files does not render a machine useless nor does it require a Windows CD and Reinstall.

These files do however contact user preference information, deleting them does nothing more than create new profile if the current is corrupted in anyway, or simply reset all user preferences back to system default, ie. background, window settings, etc. are amongst the most common and most noticable.

Delete away, BUT you cannot do it while logged in as that user.

ntuser.dat and ntuser.dat.log ARE very important files, they contain individual settings for each user (known as a profile). more specifically they are very important within the default user and all users folders, as both of these are used to create a user's profile when they log on for the first time. feel free to delete any user's profile EXCEPT default user and all users, all you will loose are settings such as desktop icons, and start menu configurations that have been modified from the default.
