Default browser wont stay selected in "Set Program Access and Defaults"
In "Control Panel"-> "Set Program Access and Defaults" -> "Custom"
I set my Default browser to Mozilla Firefox and tick "Enable access to this program" next to internet explorer I untick "Enable access to this program" and click ok to save the changes.
Problem is every time I type an address into the windows explorer bar it always loads internet explorer even though I have set firefox as the default browser.
and the default browser setting is always changed to "use my default browser" even though Firefox was set as the default.

If you don't use IE, remove it. Then you won't have a problem. Go to Control Panel--Add Remove Programs-(Left Side Bar) Remove Windows Components-- Uncheck IE. This will also free up some disk space...
