Has anyone heard of Deep Freeze. It's a program that restores your hardrive to an exact state. Supposed to be better tha the Restore function within windows.

Has anyone used this prog ad Is it worth getting it for Win XP.

Thanks

The only Deep Freeze I have heard of is in fact a security programme. We use it at school to stop the kids mucking around with the system. What happens is that the programme takes a 'snapshot' of the system whne it is installed. The Deep Freeze is activated and the kids can do what they like then. When the PC is turned off and then back on the next day it restores the original setup. It is password protected and to install programmes it has to be 'unfreezed' and then when it is re-activated it makes a new snapshot.
