is there a way to fix dead pixels on LCD screen? I have one dead pixel on my laptop and it's white! driving me insane! Is there a program that will turn it black or something?
None that I know of. Unless you got the ULTRA-GOLD-MEGA Warranty I'm sure it's not covered. sorry.

My Sony laptop had some pixels that stayed red and some white..
The problem, according to Sony, is poor connections to the LCD display. Gentle tweeking, torquing of the lid re-established the connections and fixed the problem, and has not recurred over the past two years.
Be gentle . . . . . .

If the pixel has always been dead, then U can take it back to the manufacturer, as the screen is defective. But some manufacturers require upwards of 3, most manufacturers require more than 7 or more, and some manufacturers refuse to recognise the problem.
