Hello,
One of my friends is having problems with streaming video from websites to play in windows media player 9.He doesnt have any problem with streaming .Mov files.
Whenever windows media trys to stream it causes internet explorer to crash. From the error report each time it seems to be is directed at ddraw.dll
He has updated his directX and installed all windows media updates. He also tried replacing the ddraw.dll files on his pc, but to no avail.
Ive trawled through quite a few message boards trying to find and answer, and i've found the same question asked a few times, but no one has posted any solution.

Just to clarify.. he runs Win XP home, with Service pack 1, with 512mb RAM (DDR i think) a Pentium 4 processor, with NVIDIA GeForce 120 (or maybe 140). He also uses internet explorer v6.
