3 days ago my hotmail started locking up everytime i went to it. the only way out is to use taskmanager to end the process. Also i noticed in my events DCOM error 10010 the server{323COF99-820A-4EOB-B714-57942C6D9678} did not register with DCOM within the required timeout. These started on the same day. So from what i read, i dont even need DCOM? I can safely shut it off? Leave it to msn... I looked back through my logs and found that i had downloaded the patches mentioned and uninstalled them because they caused problems.
