Just wanted to make a late contribution to the FF discussion, you guys have had here. I´ve noticed that the only big thing FF users whine about, is the fact that scaringly many sites are designed to be viewed by IE. In fact today I read that the designers of the new Mozilla-based Netscape have baked a one-button access to IE, on their coming product, because of this fact. I think the situation calls for a big LOL now.... :)

Misse, That and the download manager were the main reasons I got rid of Firefox before. However, I decided to give it another go and am now on day four. I haven't encountered any problems on any of the sites that I have visited, and the download manager hasn't been pestering me as it did before. (Do I have different settings? I honestly couldn't say.) I am so far very pleased with the look and performance of Firefox. Since I don't have as much time on my home computer as I used to, I will give it a couple of weeks or so before I make a final decision. tenacity, patience, and perseverance because…... firefox is brilliant i think eveyone should download it and try it if you do not like it you dont have to keep it but i think if you try it for a few weeks you will like it and the download manager is amazing the way all the downloads are in 1 window and i know it sounds silly but it seams to download things faster thn ie if alot of people download it it will encorage furter development of this project and will pu some fresh ideas into the markit without microsoft dominating eveything i use it for almost eveything apart form windows update because you have to use ie for that. Java does not work too well on it and i get no sound in the java aplets but oh wiell and i realy think that microsoft should allow it to be able to be used for win update this would involve a littel work on there part but they have to egnowlage that they have a serios competitor now in this field i myself personaly canot wait for the next update for firefox and i just hope that they get the jaza problems sorted out as this would be amazing and i would never use ie again apart form windows update of corse as alto i believe that microsof SHOULD make it so that it can be used i dont think they will and with teh reliece of IE7 whenever that will be i think microsoft will incorporate many of the FF feachures into it whic will forse FF to develop this is a good thing as if it is just microsoft domination this field then they will see litetl need to advance the program because nobody has a alternative but now they do have an alternative which is viabl to use as a main web browser then development will be much faster. I rember when ther was the batle between netscape and IE look how fast the program develpoed then this can only be a good thing for Internet users whatever camp you are in.

Have read about the new Netscape browser - for an in-depth look at it try here: http://www.mozillazine.org/articles/article5691.html It may be a nice idea to have some integration between the browsers but (1) it still opens the user up to security problems by using the IE layout engine, though admittedly not as many as IE, & (2) if users stuck to pure Firefox/Mozilla it would force web designers to adapt their pages for any browser (my bank has already said that they will be doing so from early next year, so I'm sure the majority of other sites could do the same if they were forced to) "I know that I'm mad - I've always been mad..."

I have found problems with firefox when visitng pogo and playing games. I have had bleed thru of pages in the background. It's quicker, but it's not perfect. Sorry my sentence construction is less unique than Joya's previous note.

yes he seems to be quite articulate but either has no knowledge of or desire to utilize punctuation or maybe he is just in a hurry what do you think I think he just thinks punctuation is an uneccesary bother and most spelling as well oh well given time I can read it anyway but I would hate for someone to think that I could not spell but then on the other hand what does it matter what others think. tenacity, patience, and perseverance because…...
