Hi,

I'm wondering could someone recommend a
good program to use for recovering data from a
formatted drive. The computer in question had
word documents on the desktop that were very
iportant, and should have been put on server,
but weren't. The computer was formatted with
XP CD and XP was reinstalled.

What is the best way to recover these files?

that is good...you can try the software that I suggested for free --- if it finds the files neccesery, you should buy it...

if it won`t work, I can give you more suggestions
