could someone please be of assistance, i have accidently restored my pc back to factory settings i have lost all my spreadsheets from february, upto now it has taken me a long time to input the data is there anyway of recovering the data i have lost so i have not got to spend time searching threw paper work to input the data back in i would be very greatful for anybodys help

Your chances of recovering data after using HP Recovery CD are nil. HP clearly stated that all data will be irreversibly lost once you used the recovery CD.

Hi Jen,
He stated that he restored my pc back to factory settings. HP Recovery CD does it. It's a destructive operation.

thanks for your replies what happened was one of my children were doing there homework and when booting up pressed the f11 key which restores the pc back to factory settings, so i have lost everything i suppose it wont happen again thank you for your help paul
