hi there,
when using partition magic pro 7.0 in winxp dos boot mode, pmagic crashed at 64 %when it was moving(data) a(fat32)partition upwards on my second hardisk,to make a new partition after it.
ihad to restart the system and now some of the data on the partition i was moving(at random)is damaged or not recoverable or just lost.
anybody can help me out?
after running scandisk it indicated there were errors on that partition and i choosed to save the lost data.

i have a amd athlon 800 mhz 256 mb sdram system with two ide harddisks.
first hardisk with winxppro on it is ntfs, the second hardisk is all fat32.
win xp pro and northon systemworks with all the latest updates installed

what is your question? Undo the data loss?

Last night i used partition magic too...I wanted to move free space from one logical drive to the other one...but while moving data (I think almost the same percentage as you), PM crashed. I did the scandisk routine for all of my drives...i didn't find any errors or data loss though (although i did see that 5 gigs were moved over instead of the 15 i specified). I'm kind of iffy though...I have a feeling i might have lost some disk space (heh, i'm paranoid...i don't believe the numbers that are being reported...since i don't know how PM works and it might have modified the fat tables or something and changed the sizes before it was completed)
