Hi everybody.

A friend asked me to burn a data CD for him. After checking it at home, he says that his PC detects it as blank. We checked it in another PC and it's OK. I don't know the reason for this. Any input is highly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Regards.

I had the same issue when I made a multisession cd-r then put it in my son's computer. It wouldn't work in the cdrw drive but in the cdrom it worked fine. Don't know if this is your issue but maybe?

Hi, domass.

Thanks for your reply. Frankly, I don't know what kind of CD drive has my friend's PC.

I don't know if this is helpful: Recorded data is a cue/bin image burnt with Alcohol 120%.

That's weird, alcohol 120% I usually never have a problem with. Does his cd drive work properly with other cds?

Some copying programs like ROXIO have the option the LEAVE THE CD AS IS or have it be able to BE READ ON ANOTHER PC options.
Basically, some CD players may not be able to read all burned cds.
