Hi, I need to backup my internal HD data to my external HD using XP. I don't want to write over the old files each time I backup, only the newer stuff gets copied. What is the command? I want to write this in Notepad and add a .bat extension and put a shortcut on my desktop. Please help me find the simple way to do this. Thanks

I'm doing something wrong. Please let me know if you can spot it. My internal HD folder is c:\0_0_1_PQ_Data\0_1_PQ_Data external destination is G:\0_1_PQ_Data. Here is the batch file I put on C:

Do you get any error message? Also, for the first run, you'll probably want to leave off the /m, so you can grab all of the files regardless of when they were modified.
EDIT: Also, that second /g should be /r
