Hi guys.

The last few times I booted in 'safe mode' I noticed an option to load something called 'd346bus.sys'.

Is this some spy ware kind of thing?

Thanx for any help!

Hi Jenna,

d346bus.sys is part of Daemon Tools. It's the driver that creates those virtual CD/DVD Drives.

No spyware, but a really good proggy !:)

No worries, Jenna !8)

The latest Daemon Tools v346 is fantastic!

The old version had a conflict with Easy CD Creator 5, and in a careless moment, I ran into a bit of trouble when I installed both -> that's how I got to recognize the file :)

The new version has no more conflicts, so you should be alright - if it ever creates problems, just start XP up in SafeMode & remove or rename that file: that's how I solved it.
