I have been having this problem for a couple of days now. My dvd player works fine but everytime I try to open my cd rom drive I get this message. D:\ refers to a location that is unavailable. It could be on a hard drive on this computer, or on a network. Check to make sure that the disk is properly inserted, or that you are connected to the internet or your network, and then try again. If it still cannot be located, the information might have been moved to a different location. Any help or suggestions on how to rectify this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Kev,
<right click> on "My Computer" and choose "Manage" and then select "Disk Management". Now <right-click> on the problem drive and choose "Change Drive Letters and Paths" and set it how you like. If another drive is using the letter you want to desinate for the problem drive you'll need to change it first. Hope that helps! ;o)
