If D: is your DVD drive, what is E:?

You can change the drive letters on drives by going to Admin Tools > Computer Management > Disk Management.

You can change the drive letter on any drive except the boot and system drives.

That's intersting... never heard it before!

Disconnect then both, go to device manager and uninstall them both.

Reboot, hook up and reinstall one at a time.

why do both?...uninstall the newer one and reboot to find out what the orginal drive is...then re-install the 2nd device...there is not need to uninstall the software...when you start it up again with the 2nd device, then system will distinguish...if you are having a problem then...take out the initial device and let it boot with the 2nd device to see what drive it picks up:)
