I have a problem when i open any of the folders in my C and E drives. This problem exaclty say Mocrosoft Visual C++ Runtime error! Program: C:\Windows\explorer.exe abnormal program termination. This problem occurs with my login(admin) and other logins as well. I am not getitng this problem in safe mode. I tried many ways of getting it solved but not able to find a solution. please help me! thank you in advance..

Ideas to try in no order.

Track down what is loading with normal mode. If the system is too unstable then you can't find it.

Might look at event viewer

Use system restore

sfc.exe /scannow

boot to a ubcd4win cd that has malware tools

clean install.

I read it wrong and answer it wrong too. So get off my case you goober.

Hi I had this exact problem as well. I downloaded a program called BHOCaptor. It allows you to look at what objects IE loads. It gives you the option to disable them. The one that worked for me was disabling a download manager. Everything worked fine after that. Good luck.
