I rarely turn my computer off. When I walked by my office, I noticed it was off. When I tried to turn it back on it seems like it's trying to reboot but then cuts off without rebooting. Any ideas?

Do you think it could have been a power surge?

Are u getting any beeps from the mobo?

Are u getting any notification on the screen at all?

A computer 'trying to boot' but not getting there and restarting early could be power or heat related.
