just recently my cursor freezes and i cant move it at all i have to reboot computer for it to work again . i have everything cleaned out and virus scans done,updated drivers can anyone tell me what to do it is driving me nuts rebooting every hour almost .if u have an answer for me please make it understandable i am a computer dummy thanks alot jolly

jolly3153, SWAG, may not be it at all, worth a try. Suspect you may have a Trojan. There's one around aimed at the mouse that does all sorts of things to it. Be aware that a virus and a Trojan are similar, but not the same. Many times, an AV detects one it can't clean , other times, it gets missed entirely.
If you need to clean one, A² can do the job and you can get it free @:

among other places.
If it turns out that you need to use it, be sure to update prior to running. They just released a new update recently and it changes all the time. Things are in a constant state of flux.

thank you for the a2 worked great but no trojan
i have an original mouse that came with computer ( not optical )i went to mouse settings and slowed down the mouse but still freezes up and other suggestions
