Hi,
When you say the year is changing to 2002 do you mean that when you change the date to 2008 then it changes immediately back to 2002?
If it only does it on a reboot then it could be the battery on your motherboard. The battery is used to remember the settings in the bios, if the battery has run out of energy then the bios settings will reset back to the orginal settings from when the board was manufactured. If you motherboard was built in 2002 then this could be why you are having this problem.

Scott
