Ctrt+Alt+Del Unable To Lock PC

Hi, I have just installed Windows XP and I can't do Ctrt Alt Del and lock the computer. If anyone knows the problem please tell me the problem because I need it for security. Thanks.

I also forgot to add, when i do press Ctrl Alt Del it just brings up the Task Manager. Thats all i wanted to add. Thanks

If you are running windows xp (professional edition) it is more than likely it it running in workgroup mode, if you want it to lock the computer by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del you have to connect it to a domain
