From the command prompt, type control userpasswords2 and check the option for secure log in.

Why does XP have two user account managers? The 2nd one seems to be hidden and have more options... why don't XP just integrate them together? And, why doesn't the 2nd one show in the Control Panel?

I think only XP homehas it, cuz in Pro you can just go to control panel and do it. They think only simpletons are using Home Edition I guess and try to make everything easy, but in the end it just becomes more confusing if you ask me.

Summary: Hello, I want users to be able to use Ctrl-Alt-Delete before they login. However, in the User Accounts GUI, I do not find an advanced tab that allows me to do this? Any ideas? Thank you for your time...
Summary: start>run, type in: control userpasswords2 Click the Advanced tab, then at the bottom, check the box for "Require users to press ctrl-alt-delete" ...
Summary: wukemaist, "Also when I Ctrl+Alt+Delete I can't seem to go to other options (i.e processess etc) as the options arnt actually there!" To correct that problem follow the instructions at the link below....
