How do I get windows XP professional to require CTRL+ALT+DEL before you can logon?

I don't know if you can and why do you want this as an option? If you set a password on the system you are forced to log in. One thing I hate about NT was the stupid, ctrl-alt-del to log in.

P.S I serious don't know of way to do this, there might be a reg. tweak I just have not seen one.

Logon as an administrator and go to contol panel, user accounts and change how users logon.

Goto:
Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Local Security Policy

Then:

Expand the "Local Policies" branch -> Click on "Security Options" -> Double-click "Interactive logon: Do not require CTRL+ALT+DEL" and select "disabled"

Go to run and type "control userpasswords2" without quotes, then go to the advanced tab.

There you have it at the bottom.
