me again hehe

ya for winxp wen i press ctrl+alt+del usually theres that X thing to close the box. i probably accidently hit a key to toggle it off so now its chopped off. i remeember theres a button that will toggle it back on (the X on top rite).

also another thing is

im on cable and now for some reason (yes again for some reason) the btotom rite of the "start" bar thing it has a "network cable unplugged) or something liek that. i never unplugged anything and my cable network is fine.

any solutions?

Press ctrl-alt-del then dbl click the grey part and waaaa la.

For the internet problem try going to the start menu then then to help and support then type "repair a lan". That should show you howto renew your ip the simple way.
