From Windows HELP:
You must associate a password with your user account to secure it from unauthorized access. If you do not have a password associated with your user account, pressing the WINDOWS +L will not prevent other users from accessing your account information.

so how do you associate a password with your user account? isnt that already done? a password has to be provided with the administrator username in order to login. how to get the lock computer option by pressing ctrl alt del

I only have one account (admin.) which is password protected.
I hit the Windows + L keys, then the computer takes me back to the log-on screen.
