From Windows HELP:

You must associate a password with your user account to secure it from unauthorized access. If you do not have a password associated with your user account, pressing the WINDOWS +L will not prevent other users from accessing your account information.

I only have one account (admin.) which is password protected.

I hit the Windows + L keys, then the computer takes me back to the log-on screen.
