Comment:

Two questions from an ignorant CPU user. First how do I start up in safe mode. Second my computer keeps crashing after being on for a few minutes. Everything on desktop loads, spysweeper comes up and then I receive a printer error message. Then shut down. I have gotten a "your computer has just recovered from a critical error" message but by the time I send a report and it begins to download my cpu shuts down. I think it has to do with some unprinted items in my printer que but how do I get to change my printer settings when it keeps shutting down?? Any help appreciated.

tap the F8 key continuosly at boot-up, then click on safe mode. Be patient, as it goes through a large scroll of info and eventually opens in safe mode.

Hopefully my advice will help you...Please post back with your results....thanks

Also, while in safe mode, try a system restore ...if it doesn't work, make sure to undo the restoration and I have one question..when did the problem start?

Hopefully my advice will help you...Please post back with your results....thanks
