If you have not updated to the latest version, 5.3.4 get that update at this site: http://www.roxio.com/en/support/ecdc/software_updatesv5.jhtml

Then reboot after update is installed

I am not sure why you are adverse to uninstalling Creator, but that's what you need to do to verify that your problem is coming from there. I doubt it.

At any rate, uninstall it and see if the problem is there. Then reinstall it.

Tell us what happens.

I had the same problem when I updated to XP.
I tried all the updates, but could never get them to work, so I deleted Easy Creator Cd, and started using disk creator that comes with XP. It works normal now. It looks like Bill Gates eliminated another one

RonH,

Bill Gates did not eliminate another one. Every user's computer system is different, no two are alike. I use Easy CD Creator 5.3.4 and it works perfectly.
