Creative DXR2 sound problem

I am having problems with my the sound on dvd's from my dxr2 board. The sound is extremelly scratchy... If I run a software decoder the sound is fine... any ideas?

I have never had luck with decoder cards. Software decoding does a much better job if your system is powerful enough.

There is probably a driver problem. Possibly once XP specific drivers are released, the problem will clear.

Creative has not made any drivers for DRX2/3 for XP and is not planning on doing it. WinXP has no drivers for it! Try the hollywood+ drivers......
