Creating passwords for interenet access

Specs: Windows XP
Is there any way i can create a password for internet explorer to start? Or can i set up that my computer automatically logs out after 10 minutes no usage?

Sure you could rename iexplore.exe to myexplore.exe and put in an iexplore.bat that prompts for a password but all some one has to do is install Firefox, Chrome, Opera or some other Internet Browser and they are on.

Locking you computer just go into your Screen Saver and Check the Check Box that requires password "On Resume display logon". This does not log you off but it does lock your computer.

What is it that you are trying to do? Are you trying to lock your kids out of the internet? If so you may want to setup separate logons for each person on the computer and setup Policies for these users...

Every user ought to have their own logon and password. All access ought to be done with limited user accounts. Use Run As when needed for admin.

What exactly are you trying to do with this?
