HI,

I find describing what I am trying to do difficult and I hope that you understand what I am trying to accomplish.

mk,

So I loaded my Windows XP MCE onto my computer recently. And after loading a program and seeing a Administrator message I decided to check the option in the Control Panel where I stumbled across the ability to create another account("Guest").

Which got me thinking...

Is it possible to create another account using the same computer.....running the same Operating System (XP MCE)...without all the software that I installed orginally on the first account before i allowed/enabled a "Guest" account ?

My reasons to create another account would be to have more system resources to run my fav online game, while having another account to run office applications, media creators and such.

Is this possible? Will I get better performance this way?.....to have another acount without all the programs?...just the essentials to run my fav online game?

Also, is there a option to run a certain account(or user, i am not sure what to call it), rather than the one that I started with, as I game much more than I do homework.

You assumptions are flawed. Programmes to not consume any resources except disk space until they are loaded and running.

Whether programmes are installed for all users or just administrators makes no difference to the resources they use. The only difference it would make is to restrict the programmes that run automatically on start-up.
